Sasquatch Get Hard-Earned Win
|
The Seattle Sasquatch beat the Huntington Station Ramrods, 6-5, in part because of first baseman Ethan Morehead. He went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The win went to Nate Wesson in relief. His record improves to 2-4. Tyler Langenfeld took the loss. The Sasquatch now have a mark of 32-38.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With one out, Morehead hit a knuckle curve from Tyler Langenfeld for a solo home run. The Sasquatch, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
"It's great when the crowd gets into it," Morehead said.
