Millers Win 6-5 Nail-Biter Versus Stogies
The Milwaukee Millers needed 13 innings to beat the Havana Stogies, 6-5, at The Mandalore Complex. The win was due in part to center fielder Mike Keys, who went 1-4 with a home run and 3 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Milwaukee is in 4th place in the Thurman Munson League East Division with a record of 39-42.

Up to bat in the bottom of the 13th, 21-year old first baseman Pat Lewis had a chance to be the hero. Havana pitcher Ben Benson wanted to foil that plan. But with two outs, Lewis drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The Millers had themselves a thrilling win.
