The Rancho Cucamonga racked up a win at Steelers Park, bumping off the Springfield Sentries, 7-3. Randy Savage, who started for Rancho, pitched effectively for his team. Their 43-102 record puts the Cucamonga 5th in the TML LA West Division.

Eduardo Espinosa was 1 for 3 with a walk, while scoring 2 runs for Rancho. The 20-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring walk off Rey Rodriguez. It was his 82nd walk of the season.
