The River Falls Falcons dealt the Media Luna Marlins a 6-4 loss at LoanDepot Park. Angel Villarreal was the star on offense. He was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. River Falls reliever Doug Minkler picked up the win, upping his record to 3-5. Francisco Acuna absorbed the loss. The second-place Falcons are now 83-58, the Marlins 64-79.

Querétaro, Mexico native Angel Villarreal had a clutch at-bat in the top of the ninth for the Falcons. With River Falls trailing 4-3, he hit a 2-run single.
