Toreros Lose, 3-2, at Arson Arena

Cabo San Lucas got a decent performance from pitcher Bobby Avila, but it wasn't enough to beat the Bloomington Blazers. Bloomington won the Arson Arena contest, 3-2. Avila threw 7.2 innings of 6-hit ball for the losing team. Randy Stucki nailed down his 4th save. The triumph puts Bloomington at 43-35 for the season.
Taylor Nunley, who is tied for 5th in the TML in total bases with 175, chipped in a 2-run home run for Bloomington in the bottom of the third. For the game, the designated hitter had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 runs batted in.
"We had the right guys up at the right times," said Cabo San Lucas manager . "We just didn't cash in."
