It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Elijah Bryant. Bryant went on a tear and cracked hit after hit off Royal Oak pitchers. When the dust settled on the diamond at Steelhounds Grounds, he had a 5-for-5 line and a day he will long remember. And the Brighton Steelhounds had a win, 18-1, over the Leprechauns.

"Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but it won't get me a hit tomorrow," he joked in the postgame interview.

Elijah Bryant hit a solo-shot off Angel Beltran in the 1st, walked in the 2nd, hit a two-run single in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 7th.
