Huntington Station Ramrods starter Jason Sanders hurled his team past the Hawaii Honu, 8-1. Sanders got the win, improving to 3-5. He gave up 1 hit and walked 1 over 5 innings. He allowed no runs.
The fans who filled the stands at Station Center Yard to watch the Roberto Clemente League action seemed to enjoy the game.
"Jason giving us the start that he did was huge," said Huntington Station manager Paco Berroa.
