Gaudet belts 2 home runs in Bison Win
Bison first baseman Connor Gaudet left his mark on his team's 12-6 win over the Bloomington Blazers. Gaudet, who is tied for 2nd in the TML with a .451 on-base percentage, went 3-4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 7 for Buffalo in the contest. David Padilla, who is tied for 5th in the TML with a 7.9 K/9 rate, picked up the win in relief. Mark Phillips took the loss for Bloomington. The win puts the Bison at 36-30, while the Blazers drop to 32-34.

A key moment came with one out in the bottom of the third. That's when Gaudet hit a fastball from Mark Phillips for a 2-run single, putting Buffalo up, 2-0.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Gaudet told the Buffalo Daily. "It's as simple as that."
