The Cabo San Lucas Toreros defeated the Bloomington Blazers, 8-6. Shortstop Ron Mulhollan deserved a large share of the credit. Mulhollan went 3 for 4 with a triple, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs for the Toreros. The win puts the Toreros at 34-32, while the Blazers drop to 32-36.

Early in the game, first baseman Mark Carrozza had a 2-run double for Cabo San Lucas. It was his 12th double of the season and put the Toreros on top, 2-0.

"I just try to go out and give it 100 percent every game," Carrozza told a local reporter after the game. "That's my mantra, and like today, it will pay off more often than not."
