Delagrange Helps Vancouver Cruise to 10-3 Win
Vancouver right fielder Mitch Delagrange played a vital role in his team's 10-3 conquest of Montreal. He was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 5 for Vancouver. Jose Calderon picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 4-0. Sandy Briseno suffered the loss. Vancouver is now 36-31, Montreal 40-27.

In the top of the sixth, the Pioneers grabbed the lead when Delagrange hit his 12th home run of the season. The 3-run home run off Sandy Briseno made it 4-2, Vancouver.

"The name on the front of this uniform is all that matters to me," Delagrange told the Vancouver Herald. "And padding the Vancouver win column."
