Martin Leads Titans to Win over Poly
In baseball, each game is unique. This one was no different.

The Carl Albert Titans topped the Riverside Poly by the score of 24-6, with the largest share of the credit going to first baseman Joel Martin. Martin was 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 4 times and driving in 3 for the Titans. Carl Albert reliever Steve Welsh was credited with the win, to go to 3-0. Vince Anderson took the loss for Riverside.

Heath Greene was a prime factor in the win for the Titans. In the top of the second with two out, the 15-year old left fielder hit a 2-run triple. He went 4-6 with a triple, 3 singles, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.

"I'm trying to keep it simple," said Greene. "Just do my job."

The Titans keep rolling, raising their record to 9-4.
