The home crowd had a good time watching the Hawaii Honu and Chicago Eclipse get after it.

The Chicago Eclipse defeated the Hawaii Honu, 12-4, at Millennium Field. Leading the charge for Chicago was right fielder Sean Martineau. He was 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Dan Lenart, the winner, is now 5-2. He struck out 5 and walked 1 over 7 innings, while allowing 3 runs on 7 hits.

Early in the game, designated hitter Jason Bennett had a 2-run home run for Chicago. It was his 20th home run of the season and put the Eclipse on top, 2-0.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Bennett told the Chicago Chronicle.

At 44-33, the Eclipse are currently second in the Roberto Clemente League Central Division.
