The Quebec Armada defeated the Buffalo Bison, 8-6, at Thundering Grounds at Bison Stadium. Quebec was led by 2061 Rookie of the Year Award winner Vince Walker, who was 3-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Nick Cockrell recorded the save, his 9th. This loss makes it 8 in a row for Buffalo.

With Quebec leading 1-0 in the top of the third, Walker hit a fastball from Ben Molter for a run-scoring double. It was his 20th double of the season and put the Armada ahead, 2-0.

"Vince was ready to go. Big day for him," said Quebec manager Ramu Pavi.
