In a close game at Field de Los Layendas, the Bloomington Blazers edged the Cabo San Lucas Toreros, 3-2. Bloomington catcher Bryan Criner stood apart with his performance. He was 4-4 with 4 singles. Jay Vincent earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed 2 runs on 11 hits in 6.1 innings. He upped his record to 5-4. The setback makes Cabo San Lucas 31-46.
Taylor Nunley, who is tied for 6th in the TML in total bases with 175, had a direct impact on the outcome. Nunley contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put Bloomington up, 3-2.
