El Paso turned a good effort from starter Malik Combs into a win over the Bighorn Bison at The Corral. The final score was 5-2. Morgan Henn wrapped it up, recording his 19th save. With the win, El Paso has a record of 40-36. Bighorn falls to 32-43.
Nate Parish, who is tied for 4th in the RCL in hits with 93, helped out the El Paso cause in the bottom of the first inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the shortstop was 1 for 3 with a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
Parish called winning a team effort. "It's not the same guy every time," he said. "It's the sum of the parts."
