Victoria designated hitter Joe Aastrom played a vital role in his team's 6-3 triumph over Trois-Rivieres. He went 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for Victoria. The Capitals raised their record to 19-12.

Aastrom came through for Victoria with one out in the bottom of the fifth. With Victoria trailing 1-0, Aastrom hit a 3-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Capitals up, 3-1.
