A 4-RBI performance from Mike Young, who is tied for 10th in the TML in extra base hits with 39, helped the San Francisco Earthquakes beat the El Paso Mavericks, 5-3. Jared Ritsch got credit for the win, improving to 3-3. He allowed 1 run on 7 hits in 6.1 innings. San Francisco has won 6 straight games.

With San Francisco leading 2-0 in the top of the third, Young hit a fastball from Radhi Tuwile for a 2-run home run. It was his 14th home run of the season and put the Earthquakes ahead, 4-0.
