Eagle Rock Tags Walnut Creek with 5-2 Defeat
Eagle Rock pitcher Miguel Arroyo had a large part in his team subduing the Walnut Creek Warriors, 5-2. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the right-hander. Bryan Young recorded the save. In save chances, he's now 14 for 17. With the win, the Ridge Runners have a record of 34-41.

Eagle Rock used a well-timed hit by Alex Vidal to capture the win. The shortstop socked a 2-run double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Ridge Runners ahead, 4-2. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"We'll just keep our nose to the grindstone," Vidal told the Eagle Rock Herald.
