J.R. Hepner, who finished 3rd in the RCL in ERA with 2.22 in 2054, was terrific for the Asheville Moonshiners in his team's 6-1 triumph over the Bighorn Bison. His performance earned Hepner rave reviews. Asheville is now 32-31, while Bighorn is 29-35.

Hepner, who was born in Enid, Oklahoma, delivered a quality start for Asheville. The 6-foot-0 left-hander allowed no earned runs on 1 hit over 7 innings of work.

"I found a nice groove out there," said Hepner.
