The Montreal Mounties got a stellar effort from pitcher Eddie Galloza, helping Montreal score a win over the visiting Buffalo Bison, 5-2, in 11 innings. The win makes Montreal 46-28.

Montreal got a knockout punch from Jose Quinones. The second baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the bottom of the 11th inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"I'm glad I got one I could handle. Glad I got the barrel on it," said Quinones.
