Earthquakes Stumble, Lose to Blazers
|
Bloomington turned a good effort from starter Jay Vincent into a win over the San Francisco Earthquakes at Arson Arena. The final score was 8-2. Vincent, now 6-4, was the winner. In 6.2 innings, he gave up 2 hits, while striking out 7, walking 2, and allowing 2 runs. Bloomington now sports a record of 35-28.
In the bottom of the second inning, the Blazers grabbed the lead when Jasper Bisson rapped a two-out single. Bloomington was trailing 1-0, when Bisson hit a 2-run single off Ryan White to put his team in front, 2-1.
San Francisco manager Bill DesMarais said his team was "out of sync."
