El Paso Offense Jammed Up by Sasquatch
In a low-scoring affair between the Seattle Sasquatch and the El Paso Mavericks, pitcher Jason Sanders was the difference between victory and defeat. The Seattle right-hander earned accolades for his stellar performance in the 3-0 Sasquatch win. Paul Massaro closed the door for Seattle, picking up his 10th save of the year. The Sasquatch improved their record to 33-40 with the win over El Paso.

Carlos Arevalo had a big solo home run for the Sasquatch in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Seattle leading 1-0 and the bases empty, he sized up a changeup from Malik Combs, who is tied for 10th in the RCL with a 7.3 K/9 rate, and punished it. The result was his 14th home run of the season, which put the Sasquatch on top, 2-0.

"Getting ahead of the hitters was the key," said Sanders.
