El Paso Gets 9-3 Road Win
|
The El Paso Mavericks and Seattle Sasquatch squared off at Sasquatch Field at Brewbaker Family Memorial Stadium.
The El Paso Mavericks saddled the Seattle Sasquatch with a loss at Sasquatch Field at Brewbaker Family Memorial Stadium. The final score was 9-3. Ralph Kasher was 3 for 4, including 2 singles and 1 home run. The El Paso catcher scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Picking up the win was Jay Bowman. He went 5.1 innings, allowing no runs on 3 hits. The right--hander struck out 4 and walked 2.
Noah Chadick was 1 for 5 for El Paso. The 22-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the top of the fourth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring single off Joe McKnight. It was his 7th hit of the season.
"We're all about heart and hustle on this team. That's what wins ballgames," Chadick told the El Paso Chronicle.
With the win, El Paso goes to 30-33, while the Sasquatch fall to 22-40.
