The Havana Stogies trumped the Pennsylvania Butterflies, 8-7, in 13 innings. Havana first baseman Maurice Edwards was impactful. He went 4 for 6 with 4 singles and a walk. He scored 2 times. The Stogies are now 33-40.

Havana got a knockout punch from Erik Mettlen. The center fielder hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the 13th inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
