Buffalo defeated Havana, 14-8, in large part due to three-time All-Star Cliff Millar. Millar drove in 4 runs. The left fielder had 1 double and 2 home runs for the Bison. Buffalo pitcher Ryan Willis earned the win, hiking his record to 3-5. Fabien Nuvolari suffered the loss. Salvador Aguilar, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 1st save.

Buffalo used the hitting of Devin Staples to pick up the win. The designated hitter clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Bison on top, 4-0. For the game, Staples had 1 home run and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Staples told the Buffalo Observer.
