Boosted by the 2-hit performance of Esteban Bermudez, who finished 3rd in the RCL in home runs with 46 last year, the Dallas Texans defeated the Seattle Sasquatch, 6-2. Jim Miller picked up the win, lifting his record to 3-4 on the season. He struck out 2 and walked 3 in 7 innings, while yielding 2 runs. The second-place Sasquatch dropped to 36-25.

With Dallas leading 2-1 in the bottom of the fourth, Bermudez hit a 2-run single off Seattle hurler Travis Reske. It was the 34th hit of the season for Bermudez and put his team ahead, 4-1.

"We played hard and won," said Bermudez. "Sometimes, baseball really is that easy.'
