5 Straight Wins for Blazers
The Bloomington Blazers went home winners at Arson Arena, thanks in large part to starter Jay Vincent. Vincent stifled the Eagle Rock Ridge Runners, enabling Bloomington to grab the 4-1 win. Bloomington reliever Jay Vincent got the win, raising his record to 4-4. Willie Borrero was tagged with the loss. Bloomington has run its win streak to 5 straight.

In the bottom of the sixth, Bloomington third baseman Ramiro Zabaleta gave his team the lead. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Melanoma hit his 1st home run of the year. Eagle Rock pitcher Willie Borrero surrendered it. With that, the Blazers jumped in front, 3-1.

"Jay was doing a good job pouring in strikes," said Bloomington manager Scott Andrews.
