The Chicago Eclipse handed the Jacksonville Pilots a loss at Arnold Field. The final score was 9-7 in 11 innings. Sean Martineau was one of the major contributors for Chicago. In addition to his 1 single and 2 home runs, he scored 3 runs and drove in 2. The 5th-place Eclipse bumped their record to 30-30.

The game was all tied up in the top of the 11th, until Martineau delivered big-time for Chicago, stroking a dramatic solo home run off Kelvin Tolmie. The game-changing hit put the Eclipse on top, 8-7.

"There's no quit in this team," said Eclipse manager Demetrio Recchia.
