Boosted by the 2-hit performance of Sean Martineau, who is rated as the 71st best prospect by BNN, the Chicago Eclipse defeated the Buffalo Bison, 4-2. Chicago reliever Joe Umlah picked up the win, upping his record to 4-2. David Padilla took the loss. Buffalo's current losing streak is now 4 games.

Chicago took a 4-2 lead on Dan Moran's 23rd double of the season. The 2-run double, which Moran hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Buffalo pitcher David Padilla visibly frustrated.

Chicago manager Zayar Adelabu was pleased with the team's effort. "It was just a good, gutsy performance by everybody," he said.
