Bighorn 6-3 Losers to Luchadores

The Mexico City Luchadores racked up a win at The Royal Grounds, bumping off the Bighorn Bison, 6-3. Duane Alcock, who started for Mexico City, pitched effectively for his team. The winner was Alcock. He threw 8.0 innings of 6-hit ball. The loser was Wes Stith. At 31-39, the Luchadores are currently 5th in the Roberto Clemente League International Division.
An inflection point occurred with no one out in the bottom of the second. That's when Luchadores catcher Tim Callahan hit a fastball from Wes Stith for a 2-run single. Just like that, Mexico City was up, 2-1.
"Duane was fantastic," said Mexico City manager Prince Percival Papenfuss. "Great passion, great pace."
