The Montreal Mounties eked out a 3-2 win versus the Quebec Armada at Mount Royal Grounds. Nobody did more than pitcher Kyle Peacock. He was terrific. Jim LeMay earned the save for Montreal, his 11th of the year. With the win, Montreal goes to 41-20, while the Armada fall to 26-35.

Montreal left fielder David Alicea contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With two down, he hit a sinker to right field for a run-scoring single. It was his 30th hit of the season and put the Mounties ahead, 3-0.

Alicea said his team "played with determination."
