The Dallas Texans picked up a win at The Royal Grounds, knocking off the Mexico City Luchadores, 7-2. On the mound for Dallas was left-hander Jim Miller. He played a key role in the triumph. The win puts the Texans at 27-33, while the Luchadores drop to 34-27.

Dallas used the hitting of Tony Curiel to pick up the win. The left fielder clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Texans on top, 2-0. For the game, Curiel had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
