Eclipse Get Thrilling 5-4 Win
The Chicago Eclipse faced a tough opponent in Bloomington pitcher John Peters, but still scratched out a win at Arson Arena by a final score of 5-4 in 13 innings. Peters went 7 innings and allowed 3 runs. Chicago pitcher Joe Umlah got the win. He's now 4-2. Randy Stucki was tagged with the loss. The Eclipse now have a record of 40-30 with the win over Bloomington.

Brad Davidson came through with a big-time hit for Chicago. The catcher smacked a solo home run in the top of the 13th inning to give his team the lead, 5-4. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Bloomington manager Scott Andrews. "The effort was great."
