Almost There: Oconomowoc On Cusp of R1 Triumph After 11-8 Win
Despite a great performance by Carmel right fielder Wayne Keith, the Oconomowoc Five O's defeated the Apples by the score of 11-8 at Arnold Field. Keith went 2-3 with a home run, a triple, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4, but he could not prevent the Five O's from moving one game closer to the Single A World Series. Oconomowoc now leads the Single A League Championship 3-1.

Dave Terrell hit a 2-run double off Ethan White in the bottom of the eighth, which put the Five O's in front, 10-8. In addition to the double, Terrell had 1 single and 2 walks, while going 2 for 3.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Terrell.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Arnold Field in Oconomowoc.
