Behind a solid performance from designated hitter Chris Romanko, the Quebec Armada defeated the San Francisco Earthquakes, 7-5. Romanko went 2 for 3 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Armada. The third-place Armada have won 4 straight.

Quebec took advantage of an error in the bottom of the eighth inning. The game was tied, 5-5, when Wanjala Bagatui hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put the Armada in front, 6-5.

"We need to keep playing good baseball," Romanko told the Quebec News.
