Victoria Takes 2-1 Series Lead with Walk-off Win
A clutch 9th inning gave the Victoria Vikings a walk-off win over the Chippewa River Chiefs and a 2-1 lead in the Divisional Series at The drakkar. Young right fielder Luis Lopez, 23, earned kudos after he slugged 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 3.

Alex Najera was the walk-off hero for Victoria. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Vikings left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said Victoria manager .

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at The drakkar in Victoria.
