Arkansas withstood an impressive performance by Wake Forest designated hitter Chris Brandwijk to defeat the Demon Deacans, 7-5, at Cypress Quarters College Grounds. Brandwijk was 3-4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Arkansas reliever Ian Dixon picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Joel Stacy shouldered the loss. Arkansas has now won 3 straight, while the Demon Deacans have lost 3 in a row.

Arkansas used the clutch hitting of Josh Berry to capture the win. The designated hitter drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Razorbacks ahead, 7-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Berry. "And not try to do too much."
