Ricco Helps Aggies Defeat Bruins, 3-2
|
Jason Ricco knocked in all 3 runs for the Texas A&M Aggies, helping them beat the UCLA Bruins, 3-2. Today's win puts Texas A&M at 10-11, while UCLA falls to 8-13.
Ricco had a timely hit for Texas A&M in the bottom of the sixth. With Texas A&M trailing 2-1, he turned a 1-1 fastball into a 2-run home run. It was his 6th home run of the season, making it 3-2, Texas A&M.
"We were in it," said UCLA manager Chong-su Yi. "We just didn't score enough runs."
