Cougars Drop Another One
|
With first baseman Tristan Hill leading the charge, the Texas Longhorns defeated the Houston Cougars, 7-5, at Ballpark of Celebration College. Hill, who is tied for 5th in the RDL in hits with 26, went 2 for 3 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Houston's current losing streak has reached 5 games.
Texas took the lead in the bottom of the eighth. With no one out and a runner on 1st, Mike Salati stroked a 2-run home run to make it 7-5, Longhorns.
"I still think this team has room for improvement," Hill told the Texas Citizen.
