Late Rally by Cyclones Locks Up 5-4 Win
Led by Seth Richards, the Iowa State Cyclones downed the Oklahoma State Cowboys, 5-4. Richards was 2-3 with a home run, a walk, and was hit by a pitch for the Cyclones. Doug Michael claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 4 hits in 1.2 innings. His record stands at 1-3. The 22nd-place Cowboys dropped to 6-13.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With no one out, Richards hit a fastball from Josh Church for a solo home run. The Cyclones, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"This place was jumping at the end," Richards said.
