Victoria Gets 8-3 Win Against Sabercats
Victoria Totems left-hander Steve Knudsen pitched a good game against the Sedona Sabercats at The Lair at Sabercat Field, leading his team to victory, 8-3. Knudsen picked up the win for Victoria, going 8.1 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 1-0. With the loss, Sedona sinks to 1-1.

Victoria used a clutch at-bat from Jon Ramos to capture the win. The center fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Totems ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

Knudsen called the win "a lesson in teamwork."
