Allen Shines in 12-4 Cabo San Lucas Win
The Cabo San Lucas Toreros marched over the Bighorn Bison, 12-4, at Field de Los Layendas. Dennis Allen, who is tied for 8th in the RCL in bases on balls with 32, led the charge. He was 3-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. Charlie Doane snagged the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits over 4.2 innings. He's now 3-1 on the season. The 'W' lifts Cabo San Lucas's record to 31-38.

With Cabo San Lucas leading 4-0 in the bottom of the sixth, Allen came up to bat against Bighorn pitcher Eric Strief. Allen hit a sinker to left for a grand slam home run. His 8th home run of the season put the Toreros on top, 8-0.

Allen told the Cabo San Lucas Gazette: "I was born for the big stage."
