Road Win Lifts Thunder Bay to 2-1 Lead in LCS
Despite a great performance by Scottsdale starter Victor Reyes, the Thunder Bay Lighting defeated the Scorpions by the score of 6-3 at Scottsdale Stadium. Reyes threw 7.0 innings of shutout ball, but he couldn't prevent the Lighting from moving one game closer to the Rookie League Championship. Thunder Bay now leads the League Championship Series 2-1.

Reyes turned in a fine performance for Scottsdale. He struck out 11 and limited the Lighting to one earned run over 7 innings.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Scottsdale Stadium in Scottsdale.
