Arkansas third baseman David Brown was sensational. He went 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 3 times, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Vanderbilt beat the Razorbacks, 7-5. Brown was named the player of the game despite the loss. Corey Paprocki got the win, improving to 2-1. He held the Razorbacks to 4 earned runs on 6 hits over 5.2 innings, while striking out 4 and walking 1. The Commodores' win now puts them at 11-7.

The Commodores grabbed the lead in the bottom of the fourth. With two out, Jason Haley, who is tied for 8th in the SBL with a .491 on-base percentage, hit a 2-run home run off Juan Pecina, putting Vanderbilt in front, 5-2. For Haley, it was his 2nd home run of the season.

"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Haley said.
