Despite a great performance by Cabo San Lucas third baseman Chris Hogan, the Bighorn Bison defeated the Toreros by the score of 8-7 at Field de Los Layendas. Hogan went 3 for 5 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Bighorn now owns a record of 34-34.

Bighorn used the hitting of Bob Ferreira to pick up the win. The second baseman clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Bison on top, 4-2. For the game, Ferreira had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"It was a nice win for our side today," said Bison manager Carlos Esparza. "Not perfect, but we'll take it."
