The Bloomington Blazers picked up a win at Arson Arena, knocking off the Quebec Armada, 9-7. Starting pitcher Jay Vincent played a key role in the triumph. Vincent, the winner, moves to 2-0. He threw 6.1 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 7 and giving up 3 walks. Jason Phillips wrapped it up, recording his 1st save.

Bloomington got a big at-bat from Las Vegas, Nevada native Warren Azar, who in the bottom of the third hit a 2-run double. It was his 2nd double of the season and put the Blazers ahead, 7-0.

"Nice to put this one in the win column," said Azar.

The loss puts Quebec at 3-3.
