The Bloomington Blazers topped the Huntington Station Ramrods, 5-3, in Thurman Munson League action at Arson Arena. The game was highlighted by the performance of Bloomington pitcher Humberto Diaz. The winner was Bloomington reliever Carlos Adujar, now 1-2. The loser was Scott Caple. Jason Phillips recorded the save, his 13th.

Bloomington took a 5-3 lead on Luis Santizo's 11th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Santizo hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Huntington Station pitcher Scott Caple visibly frustrated.

"We're feeling good in this clubhouse right now after that one," Santizo told the Bloomington Today.

Bloomington bumps their record to 28-29 with the win.
