Ridge Runners Rally Late to Nip Bison
Buffalo wasted an exceptional performance by pitcher Brad Helmick, falling to the Eagle Rock Ridge Runners, 5-4. Helmick threw 7.0 innings of 6-hit ball for the losing team. The win was credited to Brian Clendenny in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Steve Hoefling took the loss. With the win, Eagle Rock has a record of 31-37. Buffalo falls to 34-34.

Alex Vidal was the walk-off hero for Eagle Rock. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Ridge Runners shortstop hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"There's nothing like the buzz of a walk-off win," Vidal said.
