Enthusiastic fans came out to support the home team at Metroplex Park.

Benefiting from Eric Johnson's productive game, the Dallas Texans downed the Buffalo Bison, 13-7. Johnson was 3 for 5 with a triple and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Texans. Jim Miller earned the win for Dallas. He lasted 6 innings, allowing 2 runs on 8 hits, while striking out 4. With the win, he raised his record to 3-7.

The game turned with two out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Johnson hit a 2-run single off Jose Patino. It propelled the Texans into the lead, 2-0.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Johnson told a Dallas Observer reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."

Dallas is now 24-31, while Buffalo is 35-21.
