Matt White never let Quebec get something going. The Walnut Creek right-hander commanded his fastball in pitching the Warriors to a 4-0 win. The save went to Russ Gilleo, his 17th this season. The third-place Armada dropped to 31-35.

White ran roughshod over the Quebec lineup. The right-hander allowed just 1 hit over 8.1 innings, while striking out 8. With the victory, he goes to 7-2 on the season.

"Matt pumped strikes and he made good pitches when he had to," said Walnut Creek manager Armando Medina.
