Sasquatch Dismiss Jazz, 4-2

The Seattle Sasquatch knocked off the Montreal Jazz, 4-2, at Sasquatch Field at Brewbaker Family Memorial Stadium. Freddy Salgado was a big reason Seattle won. The left fielder went 4-4 with a home run and 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Melvin Sepulveda, the winner, improved to 5-3. He held Montreal to 2 runs on 3 hits over 5.2 innings, while racking up 7 strikeouts. Nate Wesson closed out the game, earning his 11th save.
Seattle took a 4-2 lead on Salgado's 6th home run of the season. The solo home run, which he hit off John Vickery in the bottom of the seventh, propelled Seattle to the win.
Salgado attributed the win to his team's "steely resolve."
Seattle is 26-31 and Montreal, with the loss, 24-31.
