The Chicago Eclipse turned back the Jacksonville Pilots, 8-7, at Millennium Field. Brad Davidson, in particular, had a fine performance. He was 2-3 with a home run and a double, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. Chicago occupies second place in the Roberto Clemente League Central Division at 36-29.

In the bottom of the eighth, the Eclipse grabbed the lead when Davidson hit his 14th double of the season. The run-scoring double off Travis Carroll made it 8-7, Chicago.

"I give credit to my teammates for this win. We got it done," Davidson told the Chicago Herald.
