| Crosscutters Edge Mustangs, 3-2 | The Williamsport Crosscutters eked out a 3-2 win versus the San Angelo Mustangs at Crosscutters Park. Nobody did more than pitcher Dave Castro, who captured player of the game honors. Castro went 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 2, and struck out 3. His record improves to 6-7. Williamsport occupies third place in the Lyman Bostock League Earl Weaver Division at 79-82.
Jeremy Gilbertson, who is tied for 6th in the LBL in RBI with 81, aided the Williamsport cause with a 2-run single in the bottom of the third. For the game, the left fielder went 1 for 3 with a walk, while adding 2 RBI.
